BabyLit have produced a wonderful collection of board books for toddlers, which retell the timeless classics that we as adults have all grown to know and love. Titles such as Charlotte Bronte's 'Jane Eyre', Herman Melville's 'Moby Dick' and of course Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' to name but a few.
How I Wonder.co.uk have chosen a wide range of these wonderful board books to help you bring the classics to your toddlers. Each book includes a different learning element to aid in your child's development, whether that be colour recognition in 'Alice in Wonderland' or number counting in 'Sense and Sensibility'........ we even have a early introduction to body parts in 'Frankenstein'.... but don't worry, it's not at all gory!
The benefits of reading to children from a young age are endless and will not only encourage your child to love looking at and listening to books, but will provide them with a sound basis to develop their own reading skills. The more words and pictures we are exposed to from an early age, the better prepared we are to develop our own speech and reading.
We fell in love with the range of books that BabyLit have produced and can't think of a better way to introduce your children to reading than with one of the classics!! After all who doesn't want to read 'Huckleberry Finn' before bed.......
